1960s Model U-458 Sideboard By Jiri Jiroutek For Interier Praha
This sideboard is part of the famous Universal series ( U-450 ) designed in 1958 by Jiri Jiroutek for the Czechoslovak state owned company Interier Praha.
Soon after its launch, this line of furniture in the famous " Brussels " style became their bestselling piece of furniture. It was produced for the next twenty years & millions of cabinets were sold. The famous U-450 line & especially this model the U-458 is highly sought after, it is still extremely popular with a whole new generation all over the world.
Expertly restored & in very good original condition, 3 sliding lacquered drawers & a lockable cabinet with a shelf.
